Enterprise Development Grant (EDG) for Branding

The Enterprise Development Grant (EDG) administrated by Enterprise Singapore helps Singapore companies grow and transform. This grant supports strategic projects that help you upgrade your business capabilities, innovate or venture overseas.
From 1 April 2023, SMEs can receive up to 50% support for EDG (sustainability-related projects may be supported at up to 70% from 1 April 2023 to 31 March 2026).

Application FAQs
For EDG applications, SMEs can apply for EDG Grant if they meet the following criteria:
- Be registered and operating in Singapore
- Have a minimum of 30% local shareholding
- Be in a financially viable position to start and complete the project
We are Registered Management Consultants (RMC), an Enterprise Singapore-recognised certification programme for management consultants aligned to SS 680:2021 Specification for Management Consultants. With effect from 1 January 2017, SMEs seeking EDG support for consultancy-related costs under their capability upgrading projects will have to engage certified management consultants who possess Enterprise Singapore-recognised certification.

Qualifying costs for the Design of Packaging for Overseas Markets include:
- Third-Party Consultancy Fees (e.g., fees paid to marketing firms, consulting firms, design firms)
- Cost for producing prototype of the packaging*
Please note that only the cost of engaging a third-party consultant qualifies for DTDi. Printing costs of the packaging does not qualify for DTDi.

The Market Readiness Assistance (MRA) grant administrated by Enterprise Singapore helps companies expand into new markets overseas by defraying the costs of overseas market promotion, business development and set-up.
Creativeans supports Singapore companies in their overseas marketing and PR activities.
The enhanced MRA grant cap of up to S$100,000 will be extended until 31 March 2025.

To be eligible, businesses must:
- Be registered and operating in Singapore
- Have at least 30% local equity held directly or indirectly by Singapore(s) and/or Singapore PR(s), determined by the ultimate individual ownership
- New to target overseas market
- Company has a Group Annual Sales Turnover not exceeding S$100 million OR a Group employment size not exceeding 200 employees
